Dr. Ebelke completed his spine fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center with Drs. Marc Asher and Roger Jackson. He specializes in treating disorders of the lumbar spine. Dr. Ebelke is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (since 1988) and is an active member of several spine organizations and a life member of the Air Force Academy Association of Graduates. Dr. Montone completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Michigan State University. He then went on to do a fellowship in spine surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where he also served on the faculty as Instructor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. He specializes in treating disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine and has extensive training in minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Montone is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon and is active in several orthopaedic and spine organizations. Michael Vierthaler, R.N., MSN, FNP-Board Certified. Mr. Vierthaler graduated from the Research College of Nursing and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through ANCC since 1999. Mr. Vierthaler limited his practice to the evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders since 2003. He works closely with both Dr. Jackson and Dr. Ebelke in the clinic setting and in surgery at North Kansas City Hospital.
